CANCER!

Today I had an EGD (upper endoscopy) and after six months of escalating G.I. issues we finally have root cause — esophageal junction cancer. Biopsies were taken, but the gastroenterologist that did the exam told us it was almost certainly cancer.  How do we share this news with our children, parents, extended family and friends?  All we can do is wait for the lab results and pray.

  1. This is just bullshit! Sorry if you or friends and family take offense, but really this is bullshit! I know I haven’t been in contact for like 50 years, but that kid I knew and the man he turned out to be doesn’t deserve this! I have no words to conjure that fits better! I pray for your strength to endure this time of life. Mark, know that I love you and hold you in the highest regard. Bullshit, Man!

  2. Hi Mark, you don’t know me but I grew up in Reedsport with George DeCloedt. He told me about your diagnosis and wanted me to read your blogs. You are the same age as my son who celebrated 40 years of marriage February 14. I was recently diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. My surgery was done on robot surgery machine 2 months ago. I figured I was toast. Somehow I escaped having an ostemy bag and Oncologist said I wouldn’t need chemo or radiation. I am nearly 83 and made it this long so what the heck. Hang in there. I will be reading your progress and cheering for you! Hugs, Shirley McAninch, Coos Bay, OR

  3. I’ve been checking out vuabet. I thought it was pretty good. Fast payouts are the thing for me. I like it a great deal more than previous casinos I’ve tried! Don’t miss out, try it now! vuabet
